Laser Treatment

The word LASER stands for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiations" or "Amplification de Lumière par Emission Stimulée de Radiations". Its principle consists of using the energy of light by concentrating it in a very precise point.

The laser is a technology that is now well-known and mastered, essential in the medical field. It allows for all dental procedures, from treating a cavity to the most sophisticated surgical actions.

There are many types of lasers, each with its own characteristics and different uses. In our practice, we use two types of lasers: the first is mainly used to disinfect tissues, and the second is used in surgery.

Laser specifics in dental treatments

Laser treatment offers real comfort for the patient as it can eliminate, in some cases, dreaded instruments such as drills or scalpels by eliminating the sounds from the mouth, that is to say, the discomfort of all traditional treatments.

Moreover, it also avoids bleeding, and the appearance of edema or pain.

The laser provides a very precise and quality treatment.

The light energy ensures an antibacterial effect guaranteeing complete asepsis and stimulates healing.
